Customised external gear pump for charging station technology

This is precisely what the close partnership between AVS Römer and innovatek OS GmbH demonstrates: from the initial idea to series production, the project was driven forward by short communication channels, mutual trust and combined expertise – quickly, with focus and a clear mission.

The turbo on the road to a solution

Only eight weeks passed between finalising the specifications and producing the first prototypes. Together with innovatek, we developed a new flange version of our AVS Römer smartflow® external gear pump – specifically tailored for charging station technology. Every requirement was implemented precisely through close collaboration:

• Very compact design for maximum space savings
• Individual customisation options
• Protection against overheating
• Suitable for highly viscous coolant
• Pulsation-free and high dosing accuracy

The initial samples passed practical testing at innovatek with impressive results. This paved the way for pre-series and series production. The project became a true best-case scenario thanks to constant communication, quick decision-making, and joint refinement of details.
