Expansion of the management at AVS Römer

As of October 1, 2020, Günther Silberbauer will assume responsibility for the commercial area of the company. This includes the areas of sales, marketing, controlling and corporate strategy. Gabriela Römer and Christoph Cegla will increasingly devote themselves to their tasks as shareholders of the company. However, they will remain an active part of the management team in order to maintain close contact with all employees. Peter Podhorodeski, the previous technical managing director, also continues in this function. Günther Silberbauer also takes over the management of AVS G. Römer AG (Biel/Switzerland) and AVS Römer Engineering GmbH & Co. KG (Eging a. See).

The new managing director is a proven expert in corporate management, sales, service, finance and the development of new markets, among other things. He proved this in management positions at Muller Martini (CH), bystronic (CH) and the Komax Group, for example. Silberbauer ended this commitment for the new task at AVS Römer.
